Rector of the Higher Seminary of the Salvatorians

Fr. Jerzy Madera SDS was born on 15 April 1962 in Trzebinia, in the archdiocese of Cracow. He was ordained a priest by the Bishop Tadeusz Rybak on May 28, 1988 in the Bagno. In the years 1990-1993 he specialized in apologetics at ATK in Warsaw. Here in 1992 he obtained a bachelor's degree in theology. In the years 1995-2000 he served as prefect in the Major Seminary of the Salvatorians in Bagno. In the years 2000 - 2003 he served as provincial secretary, and in the years 2003-2006 he was the Provincial of the Polish Province of the Salvatorians. On 1 July 2009, he was appointed rector of the WSD Salvatorians in Bagno.

Graduated from the High School in Węgorzewo in Masuria. In 1992-1998 he completed his Master's degree in Philosophy and Theology at the Higher Seminary of the Salvatorians in Bagno. In the school year 1998-1999 he worked as a teacher of religion in the Parish of Sts. Bartholomew the Apostle and Jadwiga in Trzebnica. After receiving priestly ordination, on May 29, 1999, he was a pastor of the Salvatorian Vocation Center in Cracow until June 2003. In the period 2003-2006 he completed specialized studies in catechetics at the Pastoral and Catechetical Institute at the Faculty of Theology of the Catholic University of Lublin, John Paul II in Lublin. a church license. Since 2006 he has served as director of studies and lecturer in catechetics at the Higher Seminary of the Salvatorians in Bagno. Since 2009 he has also served as a vice-superior and vice-rector of the WSD in Bagno.

Master of the novitiate

I come from the town of Rybnik in the Archdiocese of Katowice. At the age of 15 I went with my family to emigrate to the United States. Having graduated from Iowa State University in computer engineering, I met the first Salvatorian priests in Texas, where I worked. During the period when the Lord Jesus led me to the invaluable grace of my vocation, I became enthralled by the person of our founder, Father Francis Jordan. With great joy I came to the novitiate in Bagno, graduated from college and ordained in 2011. Then the Provincial priest sent me to doctoral studies at the Catholic University of Lublin in the field of Biblical Theology. I wrote a doctoral thesis entitled "Models for discovering the identity of Jesus in Jn 1: 19-2,11", which I defended on September 29, 2016. From September 7th, I completed the ministry of the novitiate, where the salvatorians came to discover in the heart the voice of vocation and learn to follow in the footsteps of the Savior. our Congregation.

Born in 1969, in Jaworzno, near Bielsko-Biała. He came to the Congregation of the Salvatorians by his earlier acquaintance with the priests working in Trzebinia. He was ordained priest by Bishop Tadeusz Rakoczy in Bielsko-Biała on May 27, 1995. The first institution to be sent was the parish of Our Lady of the Savior in Mikołów. After three years of pastoral work he reached again for books and began his studies in sociology and Catholic social sciences at the Catholic University of Lublin. John Paul II in Lublin. The decision of the superiors in July 2007 was directed to pastoral work in the parish of St. Judy Tadeusz and St. Antoni Padewski in Oborniki Śląskie, where as a superior of the local community he undertook the work of catechism at Primary School No. 3, pastoral care of the Community of Families and the care of the chapel in Kowale. After two years of pastoral and catechetical work, he returned to the Higher Seminary in Bagno. The function of the father of the clerical seminary community was assigned to him.

He was born on March 1, 1972 in Żory in the Archdiocese of Katowice. On May 29, 1999, he was ordained priest at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima in Trzebinia by Bishop Tadeusz Pieronek. The first institution on which was sent was the parish of the Queen of Poland in Bielsko-Biała, where he worked for 13 years as a catechist at junior high school No. 10 and chaplain of the Hospice of Sts. Kamil in Bielsko-Biała. There he also for 10 years was a guide of the Salvatorian pilgrimage group of the pilgrimage of the Diocese of Bielsko-Żywiecka to Jasna Gora. In 2008 he graduated from Postgraduate Studies in Management of Health Care Organizations at the Warsaw School of Economics. The decision of the superiors in July 2012 was directed to pastoral work in the parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Krzyż Wielkopolski, where as a superior local community he undertook the work of the catechists at the Jesuit Gymnasium. Polish Nobel Priests in Krzyż Wielkopolski, pastoral care for youth and care of the chapel in Brzegi. After two years of pastoral and catechetical work, he returned to the Higher Seminary in Bagno. Comes from Paszyn near Nowy Sacz. As the motto of priestly life, written in the primitive image, he chose the words of Jesus: "I am the way, the truth and the life." He was ordained priest on 22 May 2004 at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima in Trzebinia at the hands of Cardinal Franciszek Macharski.
After two years of ordination, he lived in the community of Bielsko-Biała, being a vicar in the parish of the Blessed Virgin Mary of the World. Then he worked for nearly three years as a pastor of the Salvatorian Calligraphy Center in Cracow, where he helped young people discover their way of life. In April 2009 he was assigned to the ministry of the Salvatorian Seminary in Bagno, taking on the responsibilities of the community.
In his free time he enjoys meeting people, reading good books, and occasionally catches wind in sails, or wanders in the mountains or goes on pilgrimages. He likes sports too: football and winter skiing.


Ks. Paweł Stanoszek SDS

He joined the Congregation of the Salvatorians in 1950. He received ordination in 1958. He studied philosophy and theology in Kraków, philological studies in Wroclaw. The community in Bagno has been in existence since 1964 with an 8-year break devoted to pastoral work in the German parishes of Salvatoria. In the Bagno community he was succeeded in the function of the novitiate magister, rector, foreign language teacher and confessor. Since 2008 he has been retired, still taking up assignments from the Rectorate of the WSD in Bagno.

He was born in 1940 in Brzeżany. He entered the Congregation of the Salvatorians in 1974. He was ordained priest in Trzebnica in 1981 by Bishop Tadeusz Rybak.
